The original farting outfit, worn by Mr Methane from the start of his career, is currently being auctioned off on the eBay auction site!

The fart suit dates from circa 1990, and was originally commisioned by Muttley McLad, singer & bass player of punk-rock band The Macc Lads, whom Mr. Methane supported on the "Bog & Roll Circus Tour" in 1990, launching his career as a performing flatulist.

Since then, the outfit has been used countless times around the world, until recent times when it was replaced by a new outfit.

So as to prove the authenticity of the outfit to any sphincter-sceptics out there, Mr. Methane recently posed with the outfit, in his current outfit, see photo.

A percentage of the auction proceeds will be donated to charity BACCAS (bowel and colon cancer awareness)
